Announcement Moderation Policy Updates

1/1/18 - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

Internal policy has been developed to cover those who wish to use alternate accounts to misbehave in-game and otherwise evade their primary account's ban.

Accounts found to be an alternate account of another currently banned account, verified with reasonable suspicion/confirmation by a Moderator, either via IP or other account data (such as chat logs), will have their main account's punishments mirrored in all capacities (length, expiry time, and number of warning points).

Instances of administering punishment for ban evasion will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

The main factor behind this is simple. It makes more logistical sense to ban the person, not the pirate. This was also done to bring moderation policy more in-line with the forum's moderation policy as well (forum ban evasion follows similar principles).

This policy is not up for debate. Remember - keep to the Code. https://tlopo.com/help/terms/

5/31/2020 - Effective Immediately:

This update is to inform the public of a new ban type.

Community Event Disruption: This ban is to last 1 hour and is worth 0 points, unless the criteria for a full ban/mute is met. The intent of this ban is to prevent individuals from continually returning to an in-progress community event and continuing to cause trouble. As a guideline, the offending End-User should have been kicked by a Moderator 2-3 times before issuing this ban.
