Like the idea, but it kinda sounds like your trying to implement battlefield or COD into the game, which doesn't really fit the point/story of the game. However, I do like the concept that there is a whole island dedicated to pvp. Maybe instead of making capture zones just make it a certain number of kills, similar to how svs works. Just an idea, but I think you're onto something here!

Objective based PvP is nothing new, nor is it exclusive to first person shooters. RPGs, RTSs, and yes, MMOs have all had variants of objective based gameplay. This idea reminds me of World v World in Guild Wars 2, which is IMO the best PvP experience in an MMO hands down. I fully support OP's idea
