Alright, for you who already know what Lingo is, instead of playing it in Potco (we have planned to play this one year ago), we will play it here on the Forums.

For you who are not familiar, take a look at this link: https://piratesforums.co/threads/word-lingo-pirate-style.875/

Basically, Lingo is a word game, where we switch/replace words, or add words in order to make a phrase or a sentence that we want. There is no specific purpose of the phrase or sentence, other than the purpose that the creator of the Lingo wants to achieve. In this case, the only purpose is that the phrase or sentence has to make sense, if all possible.

The game starts with one given word. The next person will choose to either add word or replace word with another word. The following person will choose to do one of those two actions as well. Each person can only do one action at a time. The phrase will eventually get longer and longer, and maybe stranger and weirder ... We will try to make the longest, most creative phrase or (eventually) sentence we'll ever make! Let's show who has the most creative thinking in continuing the phrase! This will be funny. :D

When a phrase is facing a dead lock (which I doubt), a Moderator can decide to stop the game, and we can start over with a brand new word. And the game continues.

Example: We start with the word: "dog".

- Person #1: Add the word "corn" in front of the word "dog", so now the result is the phrase: "corn dog".
- Person #3: Replace the word "corn" with "hot", so now the result is the phrase: "hot dog".
- Person #4: Add the word "stew" after the phrase "hot dog", so now the result is the phrase: "hot dog stew."
- Person #5: Add the word "chowder", so now the result is the phrase: "hot dog chowder stew".
- Person #6: Add the word "red", so now the result is the phrase: "red hot dog chowder stew".
- Person #7: Replace the word "dog" with "sausage", so now the result is the phrase: "red hot sausage chowder stew".
- Person #8: Add the word "ate" in the front, so the phrase becomes: "ate red hot sausage chowder stew."
- Person #9: Add the word(s) "my friend", so the phrase becomes: "my friend ate red hot sausage chowder stew."
- And so on.

You may add a subject, a predicate, an object, a place or time. So you may add a name of a person, a verb, an adjective, an adverb, or even conjunctions (coordinating conjuction: and, but, or, yet, for, nor, so, and common subordinating conjunction).

Let's start! The word is: "pickle"
You may continue ... :D
