Taboo Doll Upgrade quest glitch??

I've been working on the Taboo doll upgrade quest and completed 2 out of the 3 current parts I'm working on, but the part where you recover a suit of Spanish armor from a Spanish Skeleton on Cutthroat Isle doesn't register whenever I complete it. It's making it impossible for me to continue on with the quest. Has this happened to anyone else, and is there any way to fix it? My game is completely up to date and I even uninstalled and reinstalled it entirely hoping to fix this glitch.

Does this third part show as complete in your quest journal? If so, how is it not registering?—does it reset, etc.
If it does not show as complete at all, I believe you can finish this part of the quest by either defeating a Spanish Undead Capitan or the boss Tomas Blanco on Cutthroat Isle.
