TLOPO on Linux

Hey,

I got tired of Windows so I got myself a Linux Mint. The problem is though, now I can't play TLOPO! I downloaded the game and installed with Wine Windows Program Loader. Now as soon as I log in, the game's cmd prompt pops up for a split second and exits right away. Any thoughts?

The game isn't optimized to run on Linux. Also, the Wine Program Loader rarely works for video games, it's usually used for more work oriented applications, like Photoshop, video editing software, etc.

A Linux version of TLOPO is in the works. No ETA on when it will be released to the public, though.

You can use a virtual machine to run Windows and play TLOPO.

I remember when i used to run wizard101 on linux using wine, I doubt TLOPO should be too much more different, I know a lot of newer games probably won't run, but you probably have a chance with TLOPO

If you end up using a virtual machine to run windows you will need a lot of ram so your computer as a whole doesn't start to lag I would recommend having at least 16gb of Ram
