So, first off what is Ultra-wide? Well, first I will explain what an average monitor is. An average monitor usually has a aspect ratio of 16:9, which is where your typical 1080p, 900p, and 720p stand at. Now Ultra wide takes, for instance, a 1080p resolution at 1920x1080p, and adds more pixels to the side and increasing it to 2560x1080p, making it 21:9 instead of 16:9. There is a higher resolution taking 2560x1440p to 3440x1440p.

Now, why 'Ultra-wide?! Psshh'? Well, now Samsung is making a new Super Ultra-Wide monitor with a aspect ratio of 32:9! That is literally two monitors in one!!!!
