Workaround What do I do?

So idk if this has happened to anyone else but it probably has. So my problem is my black pearl quest disappeared off my questing page. I went to turn in a side quest, and teleported to my friend on her ship to get the ship that I needed for black pearl quest. And I sunk the ship and what not, and I noticed I didn't get anything. I looked at my questing page to make sure it was the right shop, and the quest was gone??? Only quests I has was side quest. And I was about 97% percent done with the entire thing I believe. What do I do?

Sometimes weapon upgrade/unlock quests don’t show up until you level a random, unrelated weapon and it appears. This might work, I’m not saying it will work but try leveling a weapon and see if it returns? Again, not saying it’ll work I’m just curious.
