The program can't start because d3dx9_42.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I've reinstalled numerous times but have not been able to play since the game reopened last week. I'm disappointed and not sure exactly what to do. Frustrating that the launcher won't work.

Welcome ! Download Direct X End User Runtime(you have to unzip this file i believe, then choose where to open it to....remember where it goes cause you have to manually click on it.....once thats installed on puter..... on the launcher use OpenGL , not dx9. Good luck!
