Hello everyone names Lady Sparrow if you didn't know by the title. I'm looking forward to sailing The Caribbean. However Ive run across a slight snag I'm not sure if I'm not doing something right its a high possibility. Or if something broke less likely but still possible I have not been able to log in to the game using my user name and password. I would appreciate any help please I really want to play this game been a long time since I played and I saw this and was like I have to come check it out.

Thanks for the welcome and I would love to join your guild sounds awesome! It says my username and password do not match but they do cause they are the same I use here. I assume it is maybe I'm wrong but I can login to the forums but when I try to login to the game it says my username and password do not match.
 
Well, all I can think of is to try resetting your password in-case you messed up or something during registration.
If you're still having an issue afterwards, best bet is to contact @MMDR via Forums or email her here: support@tlopo.com

Welcome Lady Sparrow!

Perhaps you should try the password reset function, just to make sure. I haven't heard of trending problem with the login credentials, maybe someone else has. Give the password reset a try. :)

I would also like to add that if you are new to the Beta, you will have to schedule a playtime - it is not available for "anytime" login just yet.

Playtimes are available in three hour blocks, and you can schedule one by logging into the main TLOPO site and then go to: https://tlopo.com/playtimes

If you have any problems scheduling a playtime, check back here with us and I'm certain someone can help you.

I did see somewhere on the forums, someone said that this happens to them if the 'tab' into the password box, but if they click to the password box, it works fine. I have no idea of the validity of that though since I've never had a problem with it myself. :)
 
Ok I'll try the reset password thingy. Hopefully that fixes it oh 3 hours is a good while. Thanks to everyone for replying so nice to see a friendly and helpful community.

...that was my first impression when I joined and I have to say that in my short time here, that has continued to be the case.
I also like that the staff (forum staff and game staff) are an active part of the community rather than separate from it, like a lot of other games, which makes general communication so much easier :)
 
I'm so glad to hear that the staff are active in the community really makes a difference. I don't think it worked when I reset my password it just loaded forever and ever...I tried twice no email or anything. I even checked this computers internet but it says its ok. I'm not giving up though I'm fined away to login someway some how.

It's worth checking because quite often if others have had the same problems and someone has found a work-around it will be posted there in the relevant thread.
Also https://piratesforums.co/forums/tlopo-news-and-updates.102/ is worth watching. We do have bugs that need fixing still, but as you will see the devs have been consistently fixing things (on an almost daily basis) so I have faith that they will get you in game as soon as they can

Oh ok I'll take a look there didn't think to look there. I'm sure its probably something I did or didn't do. I'll wait as long as it takes.
 
....final thought before I go to bed ....
If you don't have a Beta key then you will need to book a playtime, like ceejay918 said above. I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that you can't log in until your scheduled play slot is starting.
