Hit ok/retry till it works.

Are the servers down or something?
I tried several times and it isn't working...

First I get this error message after the blue loading screen then I click "ok"
then the next screen appears but never moves past 0% then I get the same
error message and I click "ok" and I get the next load screen with the fellow
with the gun but again it never progresses past 0%.

I have never made a character and this appears to be the new player
tutorial you get when you first play but it never does load.
Several other players are stuck in the same situation with the same results.
Tried everything in this thread to date and nothing helped.

I have a lvl 35 and its not working for me either

It goes to 85% on mine and then it says cannot connect to gs-1.tlopo.com:7669 if you click OK it goes to 0% and sits there until it says the same thing and if you click OK it still is 0%

I have made a pirate before but otherwise I'm having the exact same problem as shown above.

I'm having the same problem. So I tried my brand new computer. And I can't load it at all with DirectX plug-in (as discussed above) or otherwise.

1. prod-gs-4.piratesonlin.co:7969 is down too - is an issue on the computer that I used to play TLOPO game.

When my 9pm reserve time came around it gave me the same thing, so I cancelled it and got the 2am play time. I'm hoping that by then the game will start working.

I get that or get to create character but it hangs up at 30% loading when the jail splash screen pops up. bummed

After an hour of trying to create a character it worked and I was able to play for 2 hours. Thank you Dev Team

Probably a problem when you applied for the time.
