Alright guys! I figured out how to tell when the Seadog is around on your map. You will see the compass below your energy shake.

The seadog is a bit tough, in order to defeat it you will need to spend a few gems and a lot of gold.

Have not run by one yet but I am hoping they dont end up having 10 k on my attack/defense. Last time they did i ended up spending like $15 gems... lol. Got mad
 
Have been seeing the ship a lot more last night and this morning. Maybe 6 or 7 times. How in the world have over 400 people beat this thing 10 times already, the leader on the leader board has 32 victories. I have sunk it once, the other times it has been way to strong for me. The package it suggests I buy to beat the ship have ranged in cost from 18,000 gems to 28,000 gems. That means I would have to spend $1400.00 to $2300.00 to sink the ship just a single time. So to sink it 10 times all I need to do is spend well over $10,000.00 on gems. Seems like a good deal to me, thanks Disney.
