hey guys
just wanted to thank you for this project... seriously good work! its hard enough to get a team together to make something like this, really must've been a labor of love.
anyway I played pirates online ever since it came out. I remember playing on my crappy desktop computer when I was just a wee lad, running around on the old port royal at like 2 FPS. some of my fondest memories are with this game (along with VMK) and while I do believe this game was incredibly flawed, this project is proof that theres just enough charm in the game to keep you coming back to it.
hopefully with a crew this dedicated to the game, perhaps we'll see not only potco, but a version of potco that the devs couldn't deliver upon? can't wait to find out.
