It is a very mature book with undeniable suspense and action, and a little romance. Not to much romance. ( Eeew... Mushy gushy stuff... )

I intended to read the Game of Thrones series but didn't get far in Ice & Fire.
For me it's usually read facts, watch fiction.

Lots of good choices in here. Right now...I'll have to go with the Alien series by Gini Koch. I'm on the 7th book right now and I like them. Lots of action/intrigue/humor. A cool take on what it would be like if extraterrestrials were here, looked just like us, and coexisted. I'd say older teens/adults.

A favorite book I read as a teen and still remember, The Heavenly Horse From the Outermost West by Mary Stanton. A great book about friendships, and the age old fight between good and evil.

Oh, and the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Epic!
