As mentioned above, we are deploying our Pypperoni update. This overhauls the entire game in an effort to make it perform more smoothly. You should experience better frames per second (FPS) when this update is live.

With so many of us being homebound, it is wonderful to have the game make this update at this time. We have had a high amount of people on the last few days and maybe that contributed to the lag, I don't know. But we have a lot to look forward to and it is worth the wait to do it right!!!

It was actually related to NPC ships. We have the problem explained in our upcoming release notes.
No, but Lobbies will come after this update eventually, and then CTC will come after that.

Because of Coronavirus every day is a weekend now. So it doesn't really make a difference in our population when we deploy it.
We've had record breaking populations, so we felt that the faster we deploy these out the better.

The exact opposite. You will see FPS higher than you have ever seen before.
However, brand new computers will now have ever higher FPS than they've ever seen before. So if you decide to buy a computer or not, you still win performance wise.

Good news! Will the fix for Treasure Maps - Recover the Black Pearl also be completed? It's been a while since players could complete the Boss Battle and wrap up that very long story quest.

Well. Yer Uncle Arty is very used to the whole process of testing and releasing software updates to the production environmemt. ITIL maybe a wench driven to slap Jack Sparrow for spurning her. But, ITIL does work. In another alternate universe, Uncle Arty has functioned as an Application support Specialist. And is one of the original people who missed out on when Disney launched our favorite game by a month. All because yer Uncle Arty had not heard of POTCO until after it had launched. Thems founders were sure to beat your Uncle Arty up with Rum bottles then maroon him on Outcast. So if yer in the need of more testers, Yer der old Uncle Arty will be more than happy to join yer crew
