when I went to the site, the url says http://disney.go.com/pirates/online/maintenance.html <--- notice maintenance.
That is what they use when they are experiencing technical difficulties. If they were doing site maintenance, they would have posted a notice. Notice that they do say that Jolly has 'cursed the site'.
I am receiving this now when I attempt to log on the game:
