Can we have an honest discussion about the moderation

As Bart stated, flaunting power and actively joking while moderating is not something we expect of a moderator.

It's important to voice whenever you think a moderator managed a situation inappropriately or carried themselves in an ungraceful manner. We would really appreaciate it if players reported Mods by PMing the Lead Moderator JFR. He will look into the situation from an unbiased perspective. After all, he has TLOPO's best interest in mind.

A few ideas that could be implemented + suggestions:

Since moderation should be treated as a job rather than a side-activity; separate accounts or personas could be made purely for moderation purposes.

Players should not know the identity of the moderators who they are interacting with and moderation should not take place during moderator playing sessions.

Moderators should not be allowed to perform any actions not implemented into the game (eg: knocking out players) regardless of whatever justifications they think of.

Moderators should refrain from using any unprofessional vocabulary when conducting a conversation with a TLOPO player and should not use any offensive or belittling terms.

Moderators should treat players with the utmost respect (as should players) to prevent any unwanted issues or blame. (eg: "This moderator said this or that, thus triggering me into saying or doing that!")

All great ideas. The Senior Moderation department will particularly discuss the first point you made and possibly make it a departmental requirement.

the tlopo moderation team is bad

We are open to receiving constructive critisim, but receiving empty and vague complaints doesn't really help. Please be more specific.

i'm sorry ill state it in a easy manor the moderation team does nothing to help out the community when realistically they don't care what is going on and just wants the popularity every issue that is doing on the moderation team does nothing to help out and is just sitting back and letting it happen. if someone doesn't agree with the moderation team they simply receive a warning for not agreeing. is that specific for you?
