Ok you have problems I just lost my ultiment membership so I am now basic I am renuing my membership and I have a masterd sward the sward was THE LOST SWARD OF EL PATRON I can't get that anywhere I am mad you need to stop trying to make DISNEY LOOK GOOD THEY MADE A BIG MASTAKE ACCEPT THAT MATE and stop deffending them ok. Disney made a big mistake they can give me back my sward ok so I am not asking for something imposible and I do under stand that the game broke but they can still give me back the sward.
I don't have problems mate, i am just not gonna read every comment you wrote to see the whole story. If you got anything against me feel free to start conversation however do NOT act tough in here. I am not defending Disney, and i feel bad that so much crap against Disney is being allowed in this site when the whole forum is based on respect to their game. They did make a mistake, never said such thing that they didn't, however they know that they made a mistake which was not intentional and i got a friends who lost Behemoth blade as well. Disney can't do everything every individual wants. Also if you lost unlimited during the past 7 days than for that you should talk to them to give it to you. Other than that you need to relax as you are not getting anywhere arguing with me or disney.

It's very simple to sit back, whine, complain, and throw a fit like a 2 year old. Anyone can do it. You know what's hard? Going ahead and admitting that yeah, as much of a setback this reset was, its something that had to happen. Here were your options; reset the game, or have it crash indefinitely. I'll take the reset, thanks.

Sure, I lost some stuff. I lost a warship, a good deal of gold, a bunch of loot, and a few hard earned levels on various skills. Guess what I did this afternoon? Got it all back. Did you hear me complain about it? Call me a liar, not once. You know why?

IT'S A GAME.

One more thing; cussing out Disney reps isn't going to get you squat. There's nothing to be gained by being rude to people, especially when those people can make your life even more miserable than it apparently already is. You know what I would do if you emailed me a list of complaints punctuated by swearing? I'd laugh at you, delete your email, and go about my day. Tell me you wouldn't do the same.

TL;DR: Chill out, be grateful it's finally fixed, and get on with your lives.
 
I understand some people's frustration but please remember not to take it out on others here. Hostility won't solve anything.

Relax, calm down, and get over it. If you're soooooo mad, quit. The less whiny people the game has to deal with, the better.

Im sorry to say, and sorry to see this, although its not that serious issue, but it truly and is ultimately A GAME! Its not real life, it can be gained back. And hey, now u have something more to do. Yes you had accomplished something once, so be a better Pirate and do it Twice!. thats how I see it. Dont take the negative of a situation and let it beat at you like a bad habit. Take the best of a moment and make it greater by showing you can be greater then Prove it! Yes we have all been upset and disappointed by the "common" mistakes of others, but lets make the best and move on, because becoming angry which we already have, wont make it better. We got the angry germ out, lets move on, make ourselves an better person and show that we can still be a great Pirate with which we are!
 
I can understand the frustration, I was almost a level 50 only 200o away. I went from a 21 back to a level 15 on my grenades. I work all week so only have a little time on pirates so losing that much is really hard. I don't get a lot of time on pirates so when this happened I was upset. But now I just need to start over again, frustrating, yes, but the end of the world it is not.
 
We know this is a forum but come on, you gotta be mature enough not to take on with others. You gotta control yourself. Get a hold of yourself, put yourself together.

Everyone needs to calm down and chill out. It's a computer program and only as good as the person running it,and people make mistakes. Not the end of the world but just a game!
 
Poor Pirate I saw today on POTCO... She had a big pirate that was, actually high level, a guild, friends, and then she came on the pirate was deleted. She just made another pirate that is level 4, no guild, no friends. And she can't even see her GM or stuff, no more friends or guild!

For me, I didn't have any problems, :confused:
 
One way or another Disney screwed up computers dont purposlly make mistakes someone had to have made the error on there own or someone messed with their computers. Disney is trying to just give us 7 days to make up for it. This is not an equal comphensation for what we lost. Yes it is just a game, however it is a game we pay to play and if we knew that the game was gonna have constant errors or an error of this nature we wouldn't play it. Some people pay just for pvp some people just to talk to others and use their stuff. I pay to get famed and thats pretty much the main reason. If disney takes away my famed due to what was more than likely an error of their own then what the heck am I paying for. I feel cursing them out is the best way to deal with the situation. like someone said if it's just one person then ya I'd laugh and delete the message. However if it's a lot of people then I'd be like wow I need to fix this. Some people say cursing doesn't solve anything well your wrong. I am not going to argue with anyone who disagrees and says cursing or complaining isn't necessary. I feel it is and I'm entitled to my opinion as are you. Don't bother trying to change my mind it will only be a waste of time. I cursed out Disney and if I get term'd I'll be sad I admit, but I'll be more sad if I didn't let Disney know how I feel in a way I felt was just.Dinsey made a lot of people mad due to an error more than likely of their own and 7 free days is not an equal comphensattion for what some of us lost. For those of you who didn't loose anything that you cared about or cudn't easily get back you don't know how mad we are right now and telling us Disney is so great they fixed the problem they caused just upsets some of us. But my advice leave the cursing and arguing on the messages you send to Disney and lets go back to a friendly piratesforums.
 
Well, guys, I guess you can blame this whole thing on me. See, I got on Saturday and saw my pirate had no skills, no inventory, no ships, nada except my Valentine's clothing. So I sent a bug report with the evidence via screenshots and they closed down POTCO to fix it. So I guess all the anger can be spent on me *braces for the impact*
 
Ok I appoligie for any thing I said or did I am not angry at anyone here I was just really mad at POTCO they have taken alot of stuff from me in the past so I am used to it But I have asked them to stop they just did it agan when I ask for the sward back I was not rude I was very polite I did make some mean email but there was no cussing in the one I sent I was just firm and told them my story I hope they liston so I am not just mad becouse of one incident there where quite a few so please don't think I am mad at anyone and I respect all of your oppenons and what you like as for me I am cooling down I do reilize how it is not potco's foult intirly but they did take away the wepons and I where them I would at least restore the Legandary but I can't make them anyways Ben It is not your foult I sent a report to that was fine I just want my wepons back if posible. Lastly I need to appoligise to everyone I should have keept my anger to myself so sorry for that and I hope we can all get along. SO with this I put the past behind me and if disney dose do something I will be happy If they don't I wont argue.

I give credit to them for this. A lot have been complaining but hey did give everyone 7 days of unlimited that were taken away during the maintenances. They also had to go through a lot mental exhaustion trying to fix this which considering all the reactions of players, barely anyone says "Thank You Disney". In fact they are getting more complains about their missing stuff which they shouldn't. They even opened test and are working hard(worked on weekends) trying to make us happy so they do deserve some respect.

Now- Thank You Disney for bringing pirates online back to normal!

man disney really messed up this time I hope they fix everyones problems with loseing stuff.

i am almost afraid to post anything, lol...
first, i'm thankful that i can still play pirates... at least they didn't shut it down forever like they did with VMK.
now, and this is my personal take on this, Disney is NOT giving us 7 free days.. they are pushing back the due date of the bill. they are still getting paid, just giving us a grace period instead of an actual refund.
As for the actual topic of this thread, this is what I lost:
3 friends made during this time, some guild members, 2 legendary knives, one legendary doll, clothing and about 2 to 5 levels on each weapon. Worst of all, i have to master potions again, as it dropped me almost 3 levels on that. :) But ya know what? I don't mind because I get the chance to do it again, and maybe a little better this time around.

I went thru misery about all this myself.....a lot of my guild members were so upset, I had to settle them down several times and I even lost a few members from all the drama! It was a tough ride for a while....things are settling down and getting back to normal. Think of it this way....do you think the technicians/specialists that made the mistakes....still have jobs?
